Mr. Boehning is a Partner of ECP and Managing Partner of ECP ForeStar, ECP’s sustainable credit solutions platform. He is also a member of ECP ForeStar’s Credit Investment, and Credit Operating Committee.

Prior to joining ECP in 2023, Mr. Boehning was a Managing Partner at Forsight Sustainable Capital, which he founded under the conviction that a major building block to a sustainable economy is the formation of aligned and informed credit capital. Mr. Boehning has spent over 30 years in investment banking and private credit, most recently as a partner at Global Infrastructure Partners (“GIP”), where he spent over 10 years and launched its first mezzanine credit fund, Capital Solutions I (or CAPS) and then partnered with Ms. Powers in further building the GIP Credit platform with CAPS II and its sister fund, Spectrum. Mr. Boehning spent 16 years at Credit Suisse where he held several leadership positions in the Leveraged Finance and Origination Group, as well as Head of Global Project Finance, with a focus on the power, renewables, energy, and transportation sectors.

Mr. Boehning received a Master’s Degree in Economics from Westfaelische-Wihelms-University in Muenster, Germany.
