Rahul Advani
Principal

Mr. Advani is a Principal at Energy Capital Partners. He is involved in all areas of the firm’s investment activities, with particular emphasis on fossil and renewable generation, environmental infrastructure and services, and energy efficiency.

Mr. Advani serves on the board of EnergySolutions, Inc. and as a board observer to Sungevity, Inc. Prior to realization, Mr. Advani served on the boards of FirstLight Power Enterprises, Inc. and NextLight Renewable Power, LLC.

Prior to joining Energy Capital in 2005, Mr. Advani worked at Orion Power Holdings, Inc. as a member of the finance and M&A departments and as the Director of Investor Relations and Finance. Additionally, Mr. Advani worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley and as a consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in its Financial Advisory Services Group.

Mr. Advani received a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
